2019  BOYS 8U/10U/12U/14U BOX LACROSSE PROGRAMS

REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  THURSDAY, 12/20/2018

  • We are offering an indoor Modified Box Lacrosse Program for our 8U - 14U players.  Practices start the week of February 4th and run through mid-April (no sessions during Edina Spring Break).
  • Modified Box Lacrosse is a great way for our players to work on their core skills – small fields, 5v5 plus goalies format, quick player rotations, and every player plays a midfielder role.  (NOTE:  Modified Box Lacrosse checking rules are similar to Field Lacrosse)
  • We need Parent Coaches!   If you would like to be a Parent Coach, please contact Kelly Rhodes at jkerhodes@msn.com before registering to get a discount code for your player’s registration.  Training will be provided.
  • Player Commitment Statement:   Lacrosse is a team sport.  Player and team development happen successfully when players show up and participate - plus, it's a lot more fun!  We are asking all of our players to sign a Player Commitment Statement as part of registration, for attendance (both practice and game) and for advance notification of absences.
  • Bullying Policy:   All registrants will sign off on our Bullying Policy with their registration.  Player and team development and fun are dependent upon our players treating each other and their coaches with respect.
  • Goalies:   Dedicated goalies are needed!  Equipment provided.  A 50% registration discount will be given – please contact Kelly Rhodes at jkerhodes@msn.com if your player will register as a goalie.  Teams that do not have a dedicated goalie will need to have players rotate as goalies during games.
